Our vast array of onsite activities is sure to provide something for everyone. Just a stone’s throw away from our centre, Porth Dafarch beach is the base for all things coastal. From coasteering to snorkelling, we have every perspective covered. Or, if you’d prefer to stay dry, why not try rock climbing or bond as a family during one of our bush craft sessions?

If this still isn’t enough, just an hour away you’ll find the a Snowdonia National Park, with his magnificent mountains and numerous visitor attractions.

North Wales really is the outdoors adventurers paradise and is sure to provide you and your family the action-packed holiday you’ve been searching for.



Your Base for the Holiday
The centre itself is a chalet style 70 bed building with a friendly atmosphere. There is plenty of room to relax, either solo with a book or if you are feeling sociable, in the communal spaces. It is a great space to meet new families such as yourselves.

We also have our own on-site bar and bistro which is family friendly. It is a hub of activity in the evenings and a good place to wind down and refuel after a day out.

The environment is very important to us. We have solar panels on the roof and on the land, and we’re heated entirely by biomass! We encourage recycling and limiting our environmental impact.

On the evening of your arrival, we will meet you, show you your accommodation and make sure you are settled in. An evening meal will be put on for you and the other families, giving you a chance to meet each other and make friends. Following your evening meal, we will take you on some fun, problem-solving challenges around the centre. This is a great opportunity to get to know each other.


The day will finish with tea and cake and/or perhaps a pint in the Bar, before a good nights sleep to get you ready for the day ahead!

Your first morning will start off as all mornings should do. With a delicious wholesome breakfast. Choose from a full English, cereals, toast, juice, tea and coffee, to give yourself a good energy bank. Then it's off meet your instructors for the day.

This is where the adventure begins! We don't offer a fixed program of activities, because quite simply, weather isn't fixed. What we do is we match activity days with the right weather conditions and what your family is most keen to take on. Rain? No bother, let’s do a wet activity where a bit of rain will go unnoticed. We can have an exhilarating day in the sea coasteering or a fun slip and slide river gorge walking. Sunny? Let’s bask in the warm sun, rock climbing. Calm seas? Perfect for kayaking or paddle boarding. Rough seas and waves? Well, surf’s up! With our flexible program, every day is an exciting day!

Activity days can be whole days out, perhaps journeying to the mainland and the mountains or gorges, or a kayak journey along the coastline. We provide you with a tasty packed lunch, so that you can enjoy yourselves in a beautiful spot, taking in the scenery around you.

An activity day can also comprise of two activities in a day. When this is the decision, lunch will be back at the centre and you will be able to have soup or a hot snack.



At the end of your activity day, we have a special treat in store... We’ll have the wood fired hot tub all stoked up ready for you to enjoy a relaxing soak, whilst reflecting on the day.

A little later, dinner will be served. You’ll all be eating our scrumptious home cooked food together, giving you a chance to share your stories from your adventures.

In the evenings, we offer a range of activities for you to choose from. You can toast marshmallows on a cosy beach fire, race around the orienteering course, do the hilarious ‘nightline,' or check out some more problem-solving challenges. The activities on offer will be determined by the weather.

On the longer 5 day/4-night courses, we keep an afternoon and evening free for you to explore the delights of Anglesey in your own time. We think you might appreciate the rest, and a chance to make the most of the many culinary experiences in the area. If you need any recommendations, we are more than happy to help!

On your final day, we will say goodbye to you after lunch back at the centre, giving you an easy afternoon to make your way back home.

For a family of 4, these courses start at £690 for the 2-day adventure, and £1675 for the 5-day super adventure. Save 12% by booking 2 months in advance!

All courses come with accommodation in the Main Centre building of Anglesey Outdoors. We have family rooms for 4-6 people, and we have several twin rooms. All family rooms and most twin rooms are en-suite. The centre has abundant spacious communal areas for relaxing in, and a self-catering kitchen if you want to make a snack or a cup of tea.


The centre is always kept warm, as it is heated by our biomass boiler. We also have a very effective drying room for wet kit after days out.

There is the choice to upgrade your accommodation to our glamping options. We have Yurts, Eco Dens and Glamping Pods, which are all great fun and offer comfortable accommodation. These are available to upgrade subject to availability.




At the end of an adventure holiday, there may be the option to extend your stay, depending on availability. You might not want the fun to end!

Our grounds are expansive, and we have plenty of green space for children to play on when they are not taking part in activities. We are also only a 5-minute walk from the local sandy cove of Porth Dafarch, with its amazing sea views and sunsets.

Should you need anything from the shops, there is a broad range of good shops in Holyhead, which is only a mile away.
